"I feel Played" Rapper Juvenile downgraded to Coach from First Class on American Airlines.

The incident occurred after bumping down the Rapper Juvenile from First Class to Coach on Wednesday, August 21, by the American Airlines flight attendants. Post a heated exchange, the rapper said: "You ain't going to put me in no coach. This ain't never happened to me in my life."

The Rapper documented the incident on his Instagram Live by saying:

"I'm a celebrity; there's going to be repercussions. I'm not gonna let y'all disrespect me like that! I'm not gonna let y'all choose me out of all the people on the plane. I'm not gonna let y'all disrespect me like that, so I'm gonna get off the plane."

The rapper, Terius Gray (original name), was onboard with his wife when they were told of seat change. His wife remarked, "I'm his wife, so how can you downgrade him and I could still stay?"

After getting off the aircraft, he continued, "I fly Delta or Jets. I don't fly this trash anyway."

American Airlines Response:

"American Airlines strives to provide a positive experience to every traveler, and we apologize for Mr. Gray's recent experience with us. An unplanned change in aircraft type affected his seat assignment, and we regret he wasn't notified prior to boarding. A member of our team has spoken with Mr. Gray personally to resolve the situation."

According to the American Airlines spokesperson, the reason for his downgrade was the "downgraded equipment" on the flight itself, which caused the availability of merely four fewer first-class seats than scheduled.

Not limited to this, one spokesperson said that other customers or passengers were offered an extra seat in the main cabin instead of a first-class seat due to some issue.

The Rapper, in one of his Instagram Live videos, said, "I think I know a thing or two about first class. F--- American Airlines, all the money I did spent with b-----es. "

Even while leaving the aircraft, he said, "Out of all the people on the plane, y'all done picked a celebrity."

Nevertheless, as per the spokesperson, other passengers were offered an extra seat in the main cabin instead of a first-class seat due to some issues onboard or "downgraded equipment."

Not only this, the rapper also said in his second live video that he is a frequent flier and often prefers "first class," and with American Airlines, he feels "played" by them.
