Sleep Before a Flight

Adequate sleep is essential for long-haul flights because it is the only factor contributing to making a journey comfortable, regardless of duration. If you get enough sleep, you will not be as tired as you could be if you did not have sufficient sleep.

Prefer a Comfortable Seat

Every time many fliers prefer placing comfort at the top of the list when it comes to traveling, and these travelers never come across JetLag issues. Thus, if you have such long-haul flights, you are requested to either prefer a comfortable seat with extra legroom, neck rest, hand rest, etc. However, if there is a need to upgrade, do it (only if the budget allows you). You can also choose sites in the back of the plane.

Check-in Early

If you check in early before your itinerary, you get enough time to relax and sit in the airport lounges. This will let you prepare for the flight, and you can take a nap to avoid any tiredness. However, whether you are eligible for flight upgrades are not, you need to contact the agents of your concerned airline.

Pack Lighter

Even though you have a long-haul flight, you do not have to overfill your luggage with unnecessary stuff. Thus, it is recommended that you pack essential items so they are easy to find and move whenever necessary.

Seat Belt Over Your Blanket

It is also suggested to buckle up the seat belt over your blanket so it is visible to the cabin crew members. This will come in use in the case of turbulence, etc.

Stay Hydrated

Above thousands of feet from the ground, you will be in a plane for hours. Thus, it is suggested to keep yourself hydrated to avoid any hassle.

Sleeping Mask

It is completely impossible for you to find darkness in the cabin, even if it is a late-night flight. Thus, if you carry a sleeping mask along with you, you can skip these hassles while sleeping onboard.

Dress Comfortably

Avoid putting on skinny jeans or trousers; get some loose pajamas or shorts, slippers, etc., as per your comfort. This can work as an ace if your flight is 10-11 hours long. You must not forget to wear a loose T-shirt.
