San Diego Airport Terminals 

Two passenger terminals are available at San Diego International Airport for flight operations. The terminals at the airport are named Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. Both terminals are situated beside each other, so it is easier for passengers to move between these terminals for any requirements. 

Terminal 1

The eastern side of the airport is designated as Terminal 1, and it mainly operates domestic region flights. There are many concourses and gates included in T1 at the San Diego Airport, which has access to the baggage claim office, shopping area, food court, and security checkpoints. 

Terminal 2

Terminal 2 exists on the western side of the airport and is larger in space as compared with Terminal 1. It also has more facilities and services for passengers and offers a modern look. T2 is used for operating international flights only, and its concourses are designated for some specific airlines. 

Alaska and American Airlines uses the east concourse of T2, which has 13 gates, from gates 20 to 32. Meanwhile, the west concourse is used by other airlines for flight operations. It includes the gates numbered 33-51.

24 Hours of Operation

San Diego Aiport operates 24 hours a day and passengers can stay in the premises overnight. However, the departures and arrivals of the flight happens in between 06:30 am and 11:30 pm.
